Analysis of the motivational features of the choice of the teaching profession by students

The relevance of the present study is determined by demand state and society for training pedagogical personnel who are highly motivated professional activity chose their profession consciously. Thus, first premise conducted lies in need to improve quality Moscow metropolis. second scientific structure personality interrelation its components presented personal values motives behind choice profession. aims identify correlation value orientations choosing a future students faculty City University. methods include projective (a survey essays) standardized (Rokeach’s Personal Values Survey, Schwartz’s Value “Test life-meaning orientations” D.A. Leontiev). confirms that correlate with students. A high between motive teaching found orientation on interaction people oneself, awareness one’s choice, social cultural conditioning. In categories gender financial status, do not students’ values. novelty identification empirical verification method determining involvement significance fact it reveals new technology vocational guidance applicants university programs. Moreover, implementation results may increase effectiveness design education improving motivation. research makes contribution person’s independence self-realization life, freedom responsibility it, decisions actions, as well teachers.
